Forward Mabhuti Khenyeza ensured that SuperSport United gain maximum points when Matsatsantsa beat his former team Kaizer Chiefs 1-0 in a Reserve League clash.

The match was played at the Groenkloof Campus on Monday afternoon.

The match was tight from the beginning and finished the entire first half goalless.

In the beginning of the second half SuperSport created scoring chances but were let down by poor finishing.

On the other hand, Chiefs, who regrouped very well in the second half, got their efforts stopped by the SuperSport goalkeeper Boalefa Pule on numerous occasions.

Towards the end of the match, Jabu Maluleke laid a beautiful delivery to Khenyeza who easily tapped the ball into the goal-posts to put his team ahead.

SuperSport soared higher on the table with 46 points with just one match left before the Reserve League closes.
