CHAMPIONS UNITED INVADE CAPE TOWNSuperSport United landed in Cape Town on Monday afternoon ahead of their second round league encounter against Santos at Athlone Stadium on Tuesday night.
The match is scheduled for 7:30pm.
Since joining SuperSport United two seasons ago, coach Gavin Hunt has never won a league match against the Cape side.
In his maiden season with the Tshwane based outfit, Hunt just managed one victory in the Cape, a Cup clash (Telkom Cup last 16) that ended 2-1 in favour of his team. Out of 18 players that travelled to Cape Town on that day, 12 players have since left United for other teams abroad and in the domestic league.
In that game current league top-goal-scorer Katlego Mphela (now with Mamelodi Sundowns) scored a brace and was substituted by Siboniso Gaxa (also with Sundowns) in the 88th minute.
