SuperSport United have completed the signing of striker Nathan Paulse on a free transfer.

The former Bafana Bafana international was released by Platinum Stars at the end of last season after failing to make an impact with Dikwena.

He is hoping to get his career back on track with a move to Matsatsantsa, having had successful trials with the team over the last week.

“I obviously have quite a bit of PSL experience and my scoring record is quite good. I am feeling fit and enjoying my football still,” Paulse said.

Paulse also trained with Gavin Hunt’s side while they were in camp in the Western Cape last month, scoring in a 2-2 friendly draw with Santos.

Paulse played over 100 matches for Ajax Cape Town in two spells with the club, and also campaigned for Bloemfontein Celtic in the PSL in the 2010/11 season on loan from Swedish side Hammarby.

The forward has one cap for South Africa to his name, achieved in a famous 1-0 victory in Zambia in a 2008 Nations Cup qualifier.
