The Premier Soccer League (PSL) has confirmed entertainment and transportation plans for this weekend’s Nedbank Cup Final.

The Cup final, to be contested by SuperSport United and Mamelodi Sundowns, will be played at Orlando Stadium.

The match starts at 3pm.

Football fans are set to benefit from various arrangements that have already been finalised including trains, buses and mini-bus taxis.

Transport plans:

For Gautrain users:

There will be a taxi shuttle service from the Rosebank Gautrain Station to Orlando Stadium that will operate from 11am for every 30 minutes up until 1pm. Shuttles will depart from Orlando Stadium 15 minutes after the final whistle. Tickets will cost R20 per trip.

Park and Ride facilities:

Soccer City BRT Station operational from 11:30am. Last shuttle will depart at 3pm to Orlando Stadium (Mooki Street). Buses will then leave immediately after the final whistle from Orlando Stadium to Soccer City. Security will be deployed at Park and Ride facilities to ensure safety and also direct the football supporters. Tickets to be pre-purchased at Compu-ticket at R50.

There will be Metrorail trains departing from Mamelodi and Atteridgeville passing through Pretoria to Orlando Stadium on Saturday. Details to follow this week.

The PSL also announced the entertainment line-up that will precede the final. The entertainment line-up will include popular music group, Micasa, Zakes Bantwini and Big Nuz amongst others.

The first 20 000 people at the stadium will receive gifts of t-shirts, hats and flags.

The tickets can be purchased at Compu-ticket and Shoprite Checkers countrywide. Prices are R40 for adults and R10 for children aged 3 – 12 years respectively. Suite tickets and hospitality packages can be purchased through the stadium.
